Detailed Itinerary – Whale Shark Tour Sumbawa (Speed Boat)
- 03:30 AM – Hotel Pickup:
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Sumbawa Besar. You’ll be accompanied by our local guide and transferred directly to Goa Harbor. - 03:45 AM – Departure by Speed Boat:
Arrive at Goa Harbor and board a comfortable speed boat. The journey begins as we head out into the early morning waters of Teluk Saleh, a serene and biodiverse marine area known for whale shark sightings. - 05:30 AM – Arrival at Bagan Area:
We reach the floating fishing platforms (Bagan) with bright lights that attract plankton – the favorite food of whale sharks. Our guide and boat captain will help locate the most active Bagan where whale sharks are present. - 06:00 AM – Snorkeling with Whale Sharks:
It’s time to enter the water! With safety guidance and full snorkeling gear provided, enjoy an unforgettable swim with these gentle giants. Breakfast will be served on the boat while enjoying the calm ocean view. - 07:15 AM – Free Time & Photo Documentation:
Use this opportunity to take photos, enjoy a second swim, or simply relax on the boat while we assist you with underwater documentation using a GoPro Hero 12. - 08:00 AM – Return to Goa Harbor:
After a memorable encounter, we return to the mainland via the same speed boat, offering views of Sumbawa’s coastal beauty on the way back. - 10:00 AM – Arrival at Goa Harbor & Drop-off:
Upon arrival, our team will transfer you back to your hotel in Sumbawa Besar. Tour ends. (Optional lunch stop available on request – at your own cost.)
